Prabowo’s visit not only marks a new chapter in bilateral relations between Indonesia and India but also commemorates the 75th year of diplomatic cooperation between the two countries. Prior to his departure from Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest for India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a significant honor for Indonesia. He highlighted the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, showcasing the strong bond between the nations. The visit also includes scheduled meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
