President Prabowo Subianto’s state visit to Brazil’s Palácio do Planalto in Brasília was marked by a sense of solemnity and dignity as he was warmly welcomed by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The Indonesian leader, clad in a dark navy suit and traditional peci, arrived at 10:35 a.m. local time to a full military honors reception led by President Lula. The two presidents exchanged greetings, posed for official photographs, and then proceeded to meet with their delegations. President Prabowo was accompanied by several senior Indonesian officials, while the Brazilian side was represented by key ministers and advisors. The visit was further highlighted by a ceremonial performance by the Brazilian military band and mounted cavalry, who proudly displayed the Indonesian flag as a symbol of the growing friendship between the two G20 and BRICS member states.
