President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, emphasized the importance of integrity and sacrifice for newly commissioned officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri). Addressing the 2025 Oath-Taking and Commissioning Ceremony in Jakarta, President Prabowo called on the officers to embody the oath they had taken and be exemplary leaders in serving the nation. He reminded them of the solemn commitment made before God and the people of Indonesia, urging them to understand the oath deeply and live it out with integrity. Emphasizing the responsibility to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and people’s security, Prabowo highlighted the sacrifices made in the struggle for independence and warned of challenges ahead. The President called on the young officers to be ready to serve, dedicate themselves, and if necessary, make the ultimate sacrifice for the country.
