Surabaya – Advisor TKN Prabowo – Gibran, Mochamad Iriawan or familiarly known as Iwan Bule, attended the declaration of support from the Retired Police Officers Association (PP POLRI) at Hotel Mercure Grand Mirama, Surabaya, East Java, on Monday (8/1/2024).
The declaration of support for Prabowo – Gibran was carried out by approximately 700 members of the PP POLRI East Java, consisting of PP POLRI Surabaya, Malang, Jember, Kediri, Madiun, and Madura.
Not only declaring their support, the representatives of PP POLRI from all over East Java also signed the declaration as a form of their commitment to support Pak Prabowo – Gibran to become President and Vice President starting in 2024, in which Iwan Bule also signed.
“I would like to thank my friends who are fellow retired POLRI officers for their support for Pak Prabowo and Gibran. This is certainly a pride for us because when I met Pak Prabowo last night, he was touched by the support given by the PP POLRI friends,” said Iwan Bule to the media.
The declaration from the PP POLRI East Java stated their commitment to support the presidential and vice-presidential candidates Prabowo – Gibran in the 2024 election. They also declared that they would remain loyal to the presidential and vice-presidential candidates Prabowo – Gibran, and would not be influenced by invitations from other candidates. They are ready to guard and ensure the victory of the presidential and vice-presidential candidate Prabowo – Gibran in the East Java region.
“This is certainly a significant boost to the stigma below because there are many retired officers, especially from the police and the military, and this will be a pioneer, God willing, I believe that other regions will do the same because all elements understand that we must truly choose leaders who are truly sincere to the people and have an extraordinary vision and mission that will bring prosperity to Indonesia,” he added.
After the declaration in his political speech, Iwan Bule emphasized that when Prabowo becomes the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, the POLRI institution will remain under the President. “It is clear that the POLRI remains directly under the President, and last night during the presidential debate, Pak Prabowo emphasized that, so friends do not need to worry about the issue that says it is no longer under the President,” said Iwan Bule.
Furthermore, Iwan Bule explained concrete things related to the Prabowo – Gibran pair, their vision and mission which in the future will guarantee the welfare of the people, the economy, and also the issue of downstreaming. (SENOPATI)
